No two fern sculptures are exactly the same. Handcrafted with this natural finish makes each garden ornament unique, and a distinctive addition to your garden - perfect for rustic gardens, modern outdoor decor, or as a thoughtful gift for garden lovers.
Base Options
Ground pegs are supplied as standard for anchoring the sculpture on soft earth.
Screw lugs can be added on request (three welded-on lugs) for fixing onto timber or masonry surfaces.

Finish Options
Rusted - will arrive with a fully matured rustic patina.
Ready to Rust - arrives un-rusted - freshly made to order in clean, bare steel, ready to rust naturally or be painted to suit your style. Over time, it will develop a rich, natural patina, transforming into the weathered, rusty metal plant look shown in the photos (taken after 3-4 months outdoors in Norfolk). To speed up the rusting process mist your ferns regularly with salt water. To stop the rust developing further rinse any salt residue away and apply or spray a thin coat of oil, linseed or danish oil are best, cooking oils also work well. Multiple coats of oil offer greater protection but will darken and soften the appearance of the rustic patina. The rusty ferns in the photos have no oil applied, they will continue to evolve over time.
