Product Description
Each sphere sculpture is carefully cut, shaped, and welded by hand using high-quality steel. The detailed flower pattern offers a mix of structure and softness, making it equally suited to a contemporary courtyard or a wild, natural garden.
The photos show a pre-rusted sphere after around 12 weeks outdoors in Norfolk. Over time, the bare steel will naturally develop a rich rust patina with warm, earthy tones that deepen with age. To encourage the rusting process, simply mist it with salty water. Once it reaches the look you like, a light coat of linseed or Danish oil will help preserve the colour and finish. Left untreated, it will continue to weather and evolve beautifully. (The sphere shown is untreated and has no oil applied.)
Each sphere comes with a sturdy ground peg to anchor it securely on uneven or sloping ground. If you’d prefer a freestanding base or fixing for hard surfaces, please use the contact form – I’m happy to offer custom solutions.
